Something to look out for, a new movie starring Brad Pitt and surprisingly, Casey Affleck. The last time i’ve seen Casey Affleck in a movie was in Good Will Hunting alongside Ben Affleck, and that was way back. It’s good to see him out of his brother’s shadow and in a lead supporting role next to none other than Mr Pitt.
Come to think of it, where has Ben Affleck disappeared to?

I didn’t know they were remaking the movie. Personally i felt the Ang Lee version of the Hulk wasn’t too bad, but it got tons of negative reviews. This new version should be interesting with Edward Norton (Fight Club) as the hulk, and Liv Tyler (Armageddon)as Betty Ross.

I bought 5 goldfish yesterday for my mom because she likes ‘em. So like all fish shops would tell you, never dump your new fish from the bag into water you just filled in your tank because the temperature is different and yada yada. So we filled a tank full of water from the tap, left it to stand overnight, and placed the fishes (still in the bag) into a tub of the same water so the temperature would stabilize.
This morning, we transferred the fishes into their new home and they were happy and all.
This evening, 4 of the 5 fish were dead.
?!
This comes at a strange juncture in time because i just visited the NEWater Plant the day before (saturday) and apparently it’s mixed with our normal water from Malaysia. Now the fish thing happened a couple of times already, and apparently the longer we left the water to stand, the longer the fish lived. They usually died if we left it standing for just 1 day.

These photos are from the very first serious photography project that i’ve done and from then it has been no turning back. All the pictures were taken about 2 years ago, so there was still much to learn. I’ve actually re-edited some of them in the photo albums so what you see there is slightly different from these originals. Hope you enjoy some of them. A big thanks to Anna who didn’t mind being my model.
This project was titled “Love, in Loneliness” and I presented it through a story line. Corrinne May’s Fly Away was the accompaniment to the presentation. Perhaps when i’m free i’ll remake the video with the song
